Peter Taylor graduated from Newcastle Polytechnic with a honours degree in Mathematics. His first post was as a mathematical analyst in a shipbuilding consultancy (A & P Appledore Ltd), where he put his computing skills to good use. This was followed by a position as programmer and then systems analyst at Vickers Ltd, designing and writing software for the Vickers Group.

In 1977 he changed career path to become a Sheet Metal Apprentice. A necessary step to take over the family engineering business in Redditch.

In 1999 he sold this business and started P C Pete Ltd. Adding to his knowledge and experience in computing he also trained in P C maintenance and Web Site Design.

Whilst growing this new venture he worked and trained as an IT trainer for the local college. Where he gained qualifications in Adult Teaching and ECDL Expert.

He was one of the co-directors of In2IT Training Ltd, an IT training company specialising in training M S Office to businesses and in 2011 this function became a part of P C Pete Ltd.
